Shining Flames

The oil rolled over the ground consuming it like inky darkness, turning the earth black. Shallow yet some how absolute in nature, it broke into beads, taking on a consistency similar to mercury. The thick liquid lapped gently over the golden hoofs of an angel-like filly, hardly covering them.
Flames burst from every direction, blue and glittering with dangerous beauty. Red and gold flames wove together from the blue flames that bore them, taking a form reserved solely to the living. The flame possessing beast's vibrant blue eye rolled in its nonexistent socket over the scene before it.
The angelic filly reared up, but there was no fear in this movement; her eyes were alight with excitement. A truly demonic expression spread over her face rendering her more evil in appearance the the fire beast.

uhh story is just what I imagine happening... not sue how she would actually behave if this happened.
